Kittie's debut album,'Spit' is nothing short of excellent and that's putting it mildly. From Canada the female foursome have already been on tour with the gods of metal Slipknot, in their short career as the queens of rock. Standout tracks on the album include 'Brackish', 'Charlotte' and 'Paper Doll'. The group have just recently released a new 'Paper Doll LP' in the states and it is unknown yet when it will be available over here in Ireland.

Alien Ant Farm debut album has to be one the best album's that I have purchased in recent months. The band are signed to dreamworks label which Papa roach are also signed to and they were recently on the Raid The Nation tour with Papa Roach. The album is full of great tracks from their latest single 'Movies' to 'Smooth Criminal' which is an excellent cover of a Michael Jackson hit. It must be said that this album is quite mellow at times and tends not to get too heavy.

After hearing Crazy Town's hit single 'buterflies' many metal fans would have been weary about their album buying 'Gift of the Game', feraing that it would be very pop oriantated and radio friendly. However that is not what the guys from Crazy Town delivered us with. From the outset with track 2, toxic,. The album was alot more rap influenced than I had been expecting. From the outset with track 2, toxic, the heavy beats and loud rap was clearly evident, however toxic turned out to be in my mind the heaviest track on the album. On the whole the album certainly did turn out to be pretty good with only a few let down songs. Stand out tracks include, 'toxic', 'players' and 'holywood babylon'
